This is a 2 sided Mortgage application/ promissory Note signed by a Justice of the Peace on December 10th(0) & 15th(67), 1869.  Between the buyers and sellers . In the towns of Rockford, Ill. and Roscoe, Ill.
Goods being sold in Roscoe, Ill. are horse, buggies, farm equipment, and a sewing machine.
Goods being sold in Rockford, Ill. are 4 unnamed Billiard & Carom Billiard Tables Chairs and Accessories (THINK: 1869!) According to the paper, these items are being stored in a building in Rockford and will be transferred to probably a location in Cook County(Chicago area). The buyer is the R.Holiman & Co.
The mortgage/promissory note promises payment once per month at 10% interest.
