    Description

Colorful fold-out Kinniwabe Falls Area travel brochure, printed more than 45 years ago.
It opens to 23¼" x 17¾" and includes photos and text on the "Playground of the North Algoma District."
A map on the reverse side shows highways, secondary roads, lakes, topography, parks, and towns, including Aubrey Falls, Chapleau, Hawk Junction, Wawa, and White River, which is advertised as "the coldest spot in Canada," with a highway sign boasting a temperature of 72° below zero.
That claim may be a bit of a stretch, as the coldest temperature in Canada was recorded in Snag, Yukon, at 81° below zero, and even in Ontario, the coldest recorded temperature (72.9° below zero) was in Iroquois Falls.
