Antique Adolf Titze German Chocolate Card Album - 335 pieces

Description

This is an incredible album of chocolate cards issued by the firm of Adolf J. Titze, in Germany.  I don't know the date - I'm guessing early to mid 20th century.  The album includes mushrooms, flowers, birds, fish, animals, insects, etc.  The colors are absolutely spectacular.  Pages measure 12x9-3/4 inches.  There are 34 pages and a total of 335 cards in the album.  This is an extremely rare collection; generally these cards are found only in Germany.  The cards would have been issued packaged with a chocolate bar, the idea being that you keep buying chocolate bars to build your collection of cards.  The album includes several different collections, as noted.  Photos of every page are available (the twelve I can display here don't do the album full justice!)
