    Description

This is a nice, 1890 Brunswick antique table that was produced for the family that wanted simplicity without the glitz and glamor of a fancy inlaid table from that era. Quarter sawn oak veneer and oak rails with real 1800's ivory rail sights. All original with matching numbers on all the parts. Pockets are also original but new leather was used on the original irons. You should see the slates on this table. Like new but original. Looks like the table has only been re-felted once in 125 years.  In the same family since it was new and that spans 4 generations of very gentle use. Measures 46 by 92 playing surface which means this is what is called a 'pro 8' size'.  Another term is oversized 8 foot but it is kind of a between size and the most desirable for home use. The table is shown as it was in the home I got it from and I need to do a little work to bring it up to 100% before I can deliver it but can be ready to go right after Christmas rush. I can deliver in person but will need local billiard company to assist in installation as my age has resulted in a little clumsiness and I just make it  a practice to no longer set up tables. Be aware that new internet law requires buyer to pay a sales tax on all purchases and it is not my fault nor is it the fault of ebay. That is the law so be prepared to factor that in. Also, delivery is a mile from Duluth, Mn but I will bend over backwards to help with these expenses for you. I can provide some of the accessories for FREE to help with the cost. This table has 3 slates that are 1" thick. Not a problem. Table will look like brand new when set up in your home and will last another 100 years. Can't say that about modern tables. You can go to your nearest Brunswick dealer and buy a brand new made in Asia pool table and spend ,000 on it and next month try and get half of that for it. Can't be done. This table is less than ,000 and 125 years old. 10 years from now it will still be worth at least what you pay for it and it will be a family heirloom for generations to come just like it has been for the family that just parted with it. Check my perfect feedback record. Check my other tables. I have nearly 30 years experience in this business and while I admit to a couple of flubs in that time, I promise satisfaction or your money back. PORT CITY ANTIQUES AND AUCTIONS in Duluth and feel free to contact me to discuss any details. This is my only form of selling. Thanks for looking and happy holidays.
