    Description

    19th Century French patch box with a hand painted portrait, likely of Marie Antoinette. The portrait is under glass. The back of the portrait is marked C. de Provence.  Overall good condition with normal wear from age and use. The hinge works smoothly and the lid sits properly, although there are some very minor dents along the edge of the box where the lid sits, if you look closely. See photos. Measures about 2" diameter x 1" tall.
