gorgeous VANITY Jar!!!  Antique Guilloche Round ORMOLU Divided Glass Trinket Box CASKET Jewelry holder w a filigree design.  Beautiful ornate Gilt Golden Brass -- details:
this is a beautiful Guilloche piece, but it has some issues.  the piece is gorgeous Guilloche enamel top with a beautiful design all leading to the extroardinary top middle piece design to help open / close the box which may be a carved celluloid ball.  the edge of the lid is a repousse design or possibly engine turned.  The bottom of the round holder  is golden brass gilt repousse filigree design & just as pretty as can be.  the bottom piece has 2 handles & 4 ball brass feet.
the interior is a 3 way divided glass dish & quite gorgeous but there is quite a bit of  serious chipping on one part of the edge.  the glass piece measures 6 1/4" x 1 3/4" high. I have seen this piece online & it would be easy to replace as it is a depression era piece & seems to sell pretty inexpensively.
The entire Ormolu piece measures 6.5" diameter plus another 1/2" for each handle x 2 1/8" tall plus another 1.25" for the middle decorative piece that protrudes.
the yellow guilloche enamel on the top has some cracking & crazing.
it is unique & beautiful.  probably French enamel or possibly Russian.
not perfect but still so pretty.  sold as is condition.  all sales final.
