    Description

    Six handsome fold-out maps illustrating the history of Canada, from the first visits by European explorers in the 10th century to the present time.
    The maps are organized by geographic area, and each map is printed in full color on two sides of a coated stock.
    The overall size of each map opened up is 52 x 68.5 cm [20½" x 27"].
    They were published by the National Geographic Society and comprise the complete set of maps issued in its "Making of Canada" series. The titles and publication dates are shown below:
