Large vintage Art Nouveau style Apollo jeweled brass filigree & glass jewelry casket  in a beautiful natural warm golden brassy color...
Richly detailed, this large  trinket box features an ornate filigree floral motif with greenery all around, and is finished off with a large prong-set oval aqua blue faceted glass stone centrally, and decorative brass "bow" tab which opens and closes the box smoothly. The casket sits elevated on 4 sturdy ornate feet, and there is a glass panel beneath the top filigree detailing. The bottom and roomy interior are lined with burgundy silk moire
and the interior walls are lined with velveteen.
This jewelry box displays beautifully and has a rich golden, brass patina achieved naturally over time...
Generously proportioned, this jewelry box is rectangular with rounded corners and measures overall ~9&1/8 inches long (side to side),  ~7 inches wide (front to back), ~4 inches tall, and finished all around.
Uncleaned and in overall very good condition, with age-expected fine, superficial scratches & patination to the brass, mild soilage, a few small spots, dustiness, and a few light spots to the lining fabric.
