    Description

    Up for auction is this set of 2 Walter Baker & Co. Limited Cocoa Shells in their original boxes.  Each box is full of the product and is unopened!  While both boxes contain the same Cocoa Shell product, one box is blue and the other is orange.  From the early 20th century, the boxes have wonderful graphics.  Each box has 1/2 pound of Cocoa Shells.  Cocoa shells were used as an inexpensive alternative to breakfast coffee or tea.  They had a distinct cocoa flavor with a small amount of caffeine for a pick-me-up.  The boxes measure about 5 5/8 inches X 4 1/2 inches and 2 7/8 inches deep.  The boxes have some creases and a small hole in one box (see last 2 pictures) but are in remarkably nice shape for the ages!  Graphics are clear and color is bright!   A great and very rare set offered with NO RESERVE!!
