I really wish the power cable was longer. If you're vacuuming or using the blower on a big area dont expect to go far. as it only has like a 6 to 7 foot power cord. I recommend getting a extension cord. besides that its actually very powerful vacuum cleaner. Love the function of switching the hose from suction to blow. Very easy to use and its storage friendly.

Great shop vac.Even with the bag filter in place there is still plenty of suction.After steam cleaning a recliner, the chair cushions still needed more water removed and I decided to test the new shop vac.It is so powerful, when the attachment stuck to the seat through suction, the chair slid across the hardwood floor instead of the vacuum pulling loose.

this vacuum is the hardest sucking vacuum I have ever had in my life. its hard to pull it across the carpet because it attaches from the suction. it picked up sand that was deep in the carpet, leaving a line of clean across nastiness. love it, great price

I like this shop vac because its not bulky, it has the right amount of gallon and the HP its powerful, other big brands are bigger gallons just to get 6HP, this vac is also quit compare to my Rigid 6 gallon 3.5 HPI don't plan to vacuum water just dust in the garage and dirt in cars, if you plan to use a shop vac to suck in water buy the plastic gallons, I also bought an additional for 2 years

The suction on this shop vac is great. It may be better than my dyson! It was easy to assemble and fairly light weight and attachments snap on and off really simply. I put it to a huge task immediately around my bird cage and cat litter boxes. The bag and filter works amazingly compared to the old one. My husband had to wait in line to use it on his saw dust mess.

This is a great vacuum. It has more suction than my commercial carpet cleaner.I gave only four stars because:1) It had a small dent in the tank but, seeing it is not a major appliance like a refrigerator I can live with the dent.2) It does not come with a dusting attachment.

Bought this vacuum yesterday in replacement of my Shop-Vac because their quality has really gone downhill. The suction on this vacuum is great and the thickness of the hose is awesome. I have many animals and they create a lot of messes, so this vacuum is perfect. So far, so good!

I had a name brand shop vac that I used to try to clear a central vac. It burst into flames after sucking for 40 seconds (literally, burst into flames). So I bought this. I used it to clear that central vac in 20 seconds. It has much more power, better build quality and the stainless model is handy for going up and down steps without losing the wheel assembly. The locking attachments don't keep falling off. You can store all the attachments right on the base. I think the manufacturer was trying to build a better machine concept when they created the stainless model, not just another knock-off. Love the power!
Good smaller shop vac

I hate assembling anything! So I asked one of my wonderful sons to do the job for me, and he told me it took him five minutes. Of course he's a genius, but.... I already have another shop vac in the garage. I plan to use this for my basement and leave it there so I don't have to lug my other vac down the stairs. Anyway, I used it on my hardwood floors in the main part of the house to try it out even though it's a shop vac, and turns out it has a LOT of suction so it did a good job. The hose is not as flexible and the cord is not as long as I would prefer., but you get what you pay for (even though I got this free as part of the spark reviewer program)! ~ :)The tools are stored on top of the wheel casters, which is pretty practical and I like it.I would recommend it, even though it is pretty darn noisy. But then again, it's a shop vac so you have to expect that.

So easy to put together. Did it in less than 30 minutes, minimal screwing. Followed directions. Attachments are so easy and simple to snap on and off the hose which I love. I dislike that it doesn't show you where to store the attachments ON the vacuum itself. Advertises built in hose and accessory storage but there's no where to see where exactly the accessories go. Later found that only 2 of the accessories fit in the unit itself, the others (ex- the extension wands) must be stored elsewhere. The hook on the back is nice for looping the cord. I love the handle!! So easy to move around. I like the look of the stainless, it's sleek and clean. I like the big on off switch. Switched to the blower mode quickly, hose clips right in. Blower function is very quiet and does the job. We blew out our garage efficiently. Both my husband and I easily used the vacuum with no problems at all. Switched back to vacuum mode and attached crevice function to suck up all cobwebs and remaining debris from corners, etc. very happy with suction. We did attach an extension cord to make reaching easier, cord length is not all that long. Rolled relatively easily along ground, and handle makes it easy to move around. Take up very little space which we were very happy about, as our home is not large. Have not needed wet cleanup just yet but am excited for it's capabilities at cleaning up wet messes. Built to last and looking forward to using it for many home projects and to clean out the cars!
A FINE LITTLE Shop Vac

I found this to be a nice unit. Easy to put together. Good instructions. The stainless steel tank, instead of the usual plastic, is a nice touch. The dual handles are nice too. One for pushing and one for carrying. This Shop Vac is lightweight but has good suction for its size. Attachment storage is good. It's just the ticket for a lanai or breezeway when you don't want to lug that old behemoth out of the garage. It is well balanced and tracks well. I did one half of the tile in the picture to illustrate the unit's cleaning power. I gave it four stars instead of five because the plastic tabs that connect the attachments are likely to break from continued usage. Also, the plastic rear wheels are rather tacky. But overall, I liked this unit and would recommend it to friends.
Compatible with Shop Vac brand bags

In response to an earlier review complaining that there's nowhere to buy bags and filters for these HART brand vacs, I found that the Shop Vac branded bags that sells fit perfectly on my 10 gallon HART model. The rubber/cardboard "coupling" that holds the bag in place is exactly the same. See the attached pic: the white bag is the one that was included with my vac, the yellow one is a Shop Vac fine dust bag. Very happy with this purchase!

This vacuum does exactly what it is supposed to do. Great product !The hose is wide and thick so things won't get stuck. The filter system also nice. I have used it to vacuum up everything both inside and outside the house,even my car. It's easy to convert back and fourth and it comes with multiple attachments when you are using it as a vac. This Vacuum is extremely lightweight (even full) easy to carry and it turns on a dime. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a good dry/wet vac.

The SHOP VAC WET DRY VACUUM Cleaner 8 Gal 6 HP Stainless Steel Attachments Rolling is my new tool for cleaning!We have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 4 ferrets in our home so it gets pretty dirty fast. This vac was so easy to assemble. It's very powerful and comes with great attachments. I can now clean around the ferret cage so much easier, quicker and with more ease! It's tiny and compact, that is great when you have to find a space to store it. It's easy to change over from dry-vac to wet-vac.The vac is pretty light, I can push it easily and it maneuvers well due to having long handle and 2 large back wheels. It is a bit louder than other regular carpet vacs I have used but not anything crazy. The cord is long enough for me and I feel it is perfect for most things it will be used for. Also putting it away and storing it is so easy and it looks pretty cool also!For anyone looking for a great easy to maneuver shop vac, I definitely recommend you give this one a try.

This wet dry vacuum is AMAZING! This is the strongest vacuum I've ever used bar none. I also LOVE the stainless steel look and the 6v motor. This thing is a BEAST and will clean up whatever you need.

This vacuum does seem to have lots of features. It comes with lots of attachments for dry and wet and car with a collection bag that I have really appreciated. The big power button seemed funny to me at first, but it is well thought out in comparison to previous vacs I've owned where I have often searched for the power button. With 6 horsepower, it does a great job of sucking up everything I've used it on. The y'all handle is a nice change too. No more hunching over to roll a vac with a low handle. It makes it easy to haul when it's heavy and full with water too.

The suction is very powerful and cleaned up my stairs and multiple cars nicely. When I first opened the box, I thought lots of pieces were missing but they are in the vacuum canister so do not panic. The push/pull handle and the swivel wheels that glide makes it quite easy to transport from one place to another. It also has a lift handle which came in handy when I vacuumed the stairs in my house. There will be no unwanted disconnections between the hose and wands because they lock together tightly with latches. Connecting the two long wands together adds length to the hose and allows for further reach. All the accessories have a place they fit on the vacuum in the slots. Nowhere did I read this I just happen to notice. Also the plug has a hook in the back to wrap the cord around for neat storage. With all the accessories attached it is still easy to push pull and lift. My only problems are that the plug is short, and the hose is stiff and does not swivel. The volume is loud in the house, but I will be using this mostly outside to keep my garage and multiple vehicles clean. This wet/dry vacuum also can be used as a blower, but I have not had a reason to use that feature yet. All in all, I think this is a great portable machine and do not think the small problems I have with it is worth removing a star.
