Description
I am pleased to offer a lovely vintage cup and saucer set made by Adderley, England
Simple large pink rose in full bloom, buds and leaves on pure white bone china
Large open body with curlicue handle
Likely dates from the 1950s
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, staining, other damage or restoration on either piece - they both pass the ping test perfectly
No wear to the floral pattern
A couple of smudges or faint scuffs near the saucer recess from original factory production
Cup  measures 2 1/2" tall  and is 4 5/8" across including handle; saucer is 5 1/2" across
Marked as shown in photo with Adderley crown mark and the number H538 and decorator initials hand painted in gold  on cup
Please ignore all white spots on all photos caused by camera flash
This lovely set would make a great addition to your collection
