Vintage Matson Ormolu Filligree Beveled Glass 24kt Gold Plated Jewelry Box

This is a Vintage Matson Ormolu Filligree Beveled Glass 24kt Gold Plated Jewelry Box. It has been in storage since the 80's. The lid has normal aging wear and I have not deep cleaned the intricate metal setting around the glass for fear of damaging the gold plate. These vintage boxes tend to have wonky lids as does this one. As seen in the photos, the lid likes to sit higher on one side but is functional. The original brand sticker is an unusual feature you wont usually find with these, see first photo. The velvet cushioned bottom is sound but with some aging.
